An interactive talk on Zoom with Maggy Stead and trustees of the Tim Stead Trust
The Tim Stead Trust is delighted to contribute to the Borders Forest Trust 25th Anniversary events by sharing the exciting progress it has made in recent times. Following an extraordinary burst of enthusiastic donations last winter, the Trust has raised enough to purchase Tim Stead’s masterpiece and former home: The Steading.
Tim Stead’s legacy is at the core of the Trust and its aspirational long-term planning, with The Steading being the tangible resource that the Trust wants to grow and share with everyone. We look forward to describing our future plans for turning the house back into an inspirational hub of creative activity.
The links with Tim Stead Trust and the origins and beginnings of Borders Forest Trust are in themselves inspiring: Tim Stead’s passion for working with the environment started to bear fruit back in the mid-1980s. We are delighted that BFT wants to work in partnership with us and are excited about exploring the numerous opportunities together. So we look forward to a lively Q & A session to draw out more creative potential to our liaison.
